Starting from the 30th of November, the City of Lugano will be transformed with Christmas lights, colours and perfumes. Don't miss the official "switching on" of the Christmas tree in Piazza Riforma at 18:00 and the many events planned to celebrate this Holiday!

From 30.11 to 23.12.2018 stroll through the streets of Lugano and look for the perfect gift in the Christmas market stands!
The Gnome Christmas Village
From 30.11.19 to 06.01.2020 breathe the Christmas air and walk in the traditional village where many little gnomes have come to decorate and prepare the Christmas time with many surprises for everybody!

On the 08.12, 15.12 and 22.12 the shops will be open from 10am until 6pm.
Ice rink and toboggan slide
From 6.12.2019 to 6.01.2020 rediscover your inner child on the ice rink with a spectacular view of Lugano lake or with the sleds' slide and snow tube, where the little ones can throw themselves on the snow-covered track on rubber dinghies.

On Tuesday 31st December 2019 starting from 9.30pm, welcome the New Year with the big party of RETE TRE, its famous DJs and the Make Plain band as special guest.
New Year’s Day Ceremony
Celebrate the New Year with the city authorities and the parade at 11am in Piazza Riforma. Aperitif offered to everyone.
